I'm not really sure how I'll feel about the history lesson at the beginning - it really depends on whether or not it's interesting enough. I'm glad to hear that you still liked the pack when they returned! I loved their dynamic in Nightshade :) And Ren. Loved Ren LOL.Soniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14180755111437637132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2520240706137608102.post-81740616812760391682011-08-22T18:47:23.702-07:002011-08-22T18:47:23.702-07:00I had a lot of similar feelings about this book (I...I had a lot of similar feelings about this book (I just finished it myself). The first part was a bit slow and for the life of me I couldn't remember what the heck happened in the first book so I felt extra lost. The action was great, and this definitely added to the overall world, though this felt like a whole lot of filler to me - definitely not an independent book. I did find Calla's wishy-washyness towards Shay really irritating. The love triangle was done so well in the first book, but here it was just irritating to me. I understood the guilt, but it got really old fast.

Great review.
Megan @ Read It, See ItAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
